Design Australia Group Unveils Luxurious Headquarters in Southport
Gold Coast building design firm, Design Australia Group, has unveiled its new state-of-the-art headquarters located at Windmill Place, on 9-15 Windmill St, Southport. Design Australia Group acquired the 1270Sqm site for $3.0m in April 2022, and has since invested $1.2m in refurbishing the upper level of the two-storey commercial building.
The new headquarters will house the company’s interior, building, and landscape design firm, and offers 571.53 Sqm of luxury commercial space within the Southport CBD precinct, as well as 22 car spaces and an additional 472.63 Sqm on the lower level.
The acquisition of a commercial space of this size in Southport is rare, with outstanding prestige street presence and proximity to the Gold Coast light rail and the Southport Magistrate Court. Design Australia Group’s Managing Director, Cameron Yarker, and Creative Director, Lisa Yarker, expressed their excitement about the new headquarters, stating that it “cements our commitment to making Design Australia Group and our brands; ‘21K Design Projects’ and ‘The Building Design Co’ a leading Gold Coast, building, interior, and landscape design firm.”
